Join us every Tuesday at Travolta Bar in Kreuzberg for a casual language exchange in Berlin. This weekly meetup brings together locals, expats, and travelers who want to practice German, practice English, and connect with others.
Whether your goal is improving your language skills or simply meeting new people in Berlin, you are very welcome.

Language exchange is part of the evening, but the focus is social. Many people come to make friends in Berlin and enjoy conversation. First time? Just come say hi to the host and we’ll introduce you.

A long running Berlin meetup
We have been running for over 17 years with a mix of regulars and newcomers every week.
Many attendees do not RSVP on Meetup, so the RSVP count may appear lower than the actual turnout.

We usually set up separate tables for German and English and add more as needed.

Look for the Australian/ EU or German/Berlin flags.
If you do not see us right away, just ask the bar staff for the language exchange group and they will point you to the right table.

Venue note
The bar allows smoking.
In summer we usually sit outside.
In colder or rainy weather we will be inside.
